Inaugration of Associations and Investiture Ceremony

St.alphonsa college of arts& science organized the inaugration of associa tions and investiture ceremony to bestow the responsibilities on the newly elected members of students councils,office bearers of all department associations,student representatives of various clubs and committee and sports captains for the academic year 2025-26 on 23rd july 2025 in the multipurpose hall at 10 am.The ceremony was graced by the benign presence of Dr. Subramania pillai professor,Noorul Islam University as cheif guest,Rev.Fr.Thomas Poovathumoottil as our respected secretary and correspondent,Rev.Dr.Angelo Joseph our beloved principal,Rev.Fr.Ajin Jose as our honourable co-correspondent and campus minister and Dr. R. Sivanesan as our dedicated vice principal.

The ceremony begins with a prayer song followed by a graceful welcome dance by our students mismerized the audience and added colour to the event.A. Aslin Susmi of 2nd M.sc maths delivered a welcome address.Principal Rev.Fr.Angelo Joseph motivated the students through his thought provoking speech which would help the students to make their vision clear for the acheivement of their goal by performing their duties with full dedication. The investiture ceremony of student council was held as a solemn occasion where the young students were all prepared to discharge the functions entrusted to them.

The investiture ceremony of department association, office bearers was held and the oath taking ceremony was solemnly led. Newly elected secretary of each department presented the department vision and mission and also the activity plan for the academic year 2025-26. The investiture ceremony of clubs and committees were held and the oath taking ceremony was solemnly led.The sports captains were introduced and honoured during the investiture ceremony of sports. The students of department of English gave a nice performance of drama which added a flavour of literature to mismerize the audience and created a different vibe. The cheif guest Dr.R.Subramania Pillai appreciated and encouraged all the young leaders to work hard for the betterment of their future.The program came to an end with a vote of thanks proposed by Ancilin Steanies 3rd Bsc physics.
